Bob Craig helps law firms and corporations select, retain, and manage consulting and testifying experts, particularly in areas such as economics, accounting, finance, damages, industry dynamics, and data analytics as well as other specialty areas that require subject matter expertise, litigation support, and courtroom experience.

Bob is a Director of Business Development for the International consulting firm Berkeley Research Group, LLC, having joined them in the Spring of 2013. He is an member of the BRG Business Development Team. Getting the "right" expert for his clients is a passion and commitment, and while the expanding and significant team at BRG usually includes the expert needed, through Craig III Consulting he is also available to help clients meet their needs when BRG cannot.

Bob has an extensive legal background in global litigation matters ranging from securities cases and international arbitrations to damage analysis and intellectual property cases.  He also has been retained as a court-designated independent in derivative litigation and is available for arbitration and mediation appointments.

Prior to the creation of Craig III Consulting, Bob was a Vice President for Business Development at CRA.  Before he joined CRA, he was a director at LECG.

Before moving into the world of testifying and consulting litigation experts, Bob served for 27 years (he retired from WMI in 2008) as an in-house counsel for four major corporations: Waste Management, Inc., Tenneco Oil, First City Bancorporation, and American General Corporation. In these roles, he provided senior management and board members with counsel on areas such as securities, domestic and international arbitration, criminal investigations, class actions, antitrust, and merger and acquisition activity.

After graduating from law school, Bob was a member of the United States Air Force Judge Advocate Corps. He served as a prosecutor at Sheppard AFB and as a professor in the Law Department at the United States Air Force Academy.

Professionally, Bob currently is in Leadership in the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association where he serves as co-chair of the Military Lawyers Committee.  His previous leadership position in the Section was as a Director and chair of the substantive law committees.  He began his leadership role as co-chair of the section's Committee on Corporate Counsel. He is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and both the Texas and Virginia (Associate) bar associations.
